The book, Doctor of Hearts, celebrates the life of an accomplished South African whose work was recognised with several awards, including the highest honour in South Africa, the order of Mapungubwe for his contribution to Science. An NRF-A rated scientist who discovered the gene mutation that causes a type of heart muscle disease.
